Specialist Paediatric Dentist
Since focusing on dentistry for children, Lexy has developed management techniques which result in happy compliance from children who might otherwise not accept treatment. She understands that each child is different, with individual joys and fears. Her ‘can-do’ approach means that visits to see her become relaxed and cheerful occasions.
Like all the clinicians in the practice, Lexy is dedicated to pain-free treatment. This can be achieved with just her gentle hands and understanding, local anaesthesia (always with a preliminary anaesthetic gel) or ‘inhalation sedation’ for older children.
After graduating from the University of Manchester in 2013, Lexy moved back to London and began her speciality training in paediatric dentistry at Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital where she qualified to become a specialist in January 2019. Lexy also underwent an MSc alongside her speciality training at Kings College London which she completed in 2018. During her time here, Lexy was supervised by our very own, Dr Joanna Johnson who sadly departed from the practice in September 2020.
Lexy is currently continuing her training at the Eastman Dental hospital where she hopes to complete her higher speciality training in 2021 and become a consultant for the NHS, alongside her work at 76 Harley Street.
You can arrange an appointment for your child with Lexy on Saturdays.
