Specialist Paediatric Dentist
Nikita has a lot of experience in paediatric dentistry through completing her specialist training at Guys and St Thomas’ hospitals and previous posts in various dental specialties and the community dental services. She enjoys the variety the specialty offers and has treated medically compromised children, managed dental trauma, and provided treatment to children with complex dental conditions.
Her passion involves managing anxious children and families and helping them through their treatment by creating an approachable and open environment. It is through treating these patients that Nikita has learnt how we as a team have a direct impact on the patient having a more positive dental future.
Nikita graduated from Cardiff university in 2014 and has presented projects at international and regional levels. She was awarded first place for the BAOS audit prize and highly recommended for the BASCD Borrower prize. Her enthusiasm in the specialty has also enabled her to gain several publications in peer reviewed journals.
Nikita is passionate about teaching within the specialty and completed her Postgraduate certificate in dental education. As well as this she has recently been appointed the Council representative for the Southeast branch of the British society of Paediatric dentistry.
Nikita is embarking on further higher specialty training at the Royal London hospital where she will train to be a consultant in Paediatric dentistry. In her spare time, she enjoys running, baking, and travelling.
