Rohan Rajasingham is one of our two endodontists (specialising in root canal treatment), alongside Dr Tim Sunnocks and is recognised as a specialist by the General Dental Council.
Like all his colleagues in the practice, Rohan is dedicated to completing treatments in a painless way – root treatment should be just as painless as any other dental treatment.
People are often apprehensive about root treatment, and it is true that without specialist skills it can be very difficult. As our team of endodontists have years of experience and detailed knowledge, the likelihood of successful treatment by them is very high.
Our specialist team will use equipment which includes a microscope that magnifies by 30 times so they can actually see what they are doing inside the tiny roots – this makes a huge difference to the outcome of the treatment. Treatment is carried out with meticulous care and may involve one or more visits.
Rohan qualified from the Royal London Hospital in 1992. Since then he has maintained an ongoing commitment to continuing professional development. He successfully completed the MSc programme in endodontics with distinction at the Eastman Dental Hospital in 2001, and since then has devoted himself exclusively to endodontic practice. He is a member of the British Endodontic Society and gives courses in endodontics to general dentists.
You can see Rohan for an appointment at the practice on Thursdays.
