The Clinical and Cosmetic and Reconstructive (CCR) annual expo recently asked 100 UK dentists, surgeons, doctors, dermatologists and practice managers involved in the field of aesthetic work which celebrities had made the most effective use of cosmetic procedures.
Jennifer Lopez, Cheryl Cole and Kylie Minogue in joint second place for celebrity dentistry
Whilst there wasn’t a complete consensus, there was an outright winner: the 48-year-old Friends star, Jennifer Anniston emerged with 15 per cent of the vote. There was a tie for second place with Jennifer Lopez, Cheryl Cole and Kylie Minogue all gaining 11 per cent of the vote. Despite their high profile, the Kardashians dental work only managed to garner 8 per cent.
According to Alison Willis, division director of CCR Expo: “Thirty-nine per cent of the experts in our survey said that women are very influenced by famous people when choosing their treatments, and 18 per cent suggested men take their cues from celebs too.”

The survey also indicated where the treatment had been less than successful with several of the experts critical of reality TV stars who were perceived as having too much work done at too young an age.
