toothy smileOne of the key ways that we at 76 Harley Street optimise our service is by bringing together professionals from the various dentistry specialisms under one roof.

For London patients who require more than a simple check-up, our set up offers convenience and a more holistic approach. So who will straighten your teeth? Who will help you tackle your receding gums?

Orthodontic dentistry

This is perhaps the most familiar sounding dentistry specialism as many of us will have seen an orthodontist in our teenage years – or had a classmate absent on account of an orthodontic appointment. This specialism is concerned with the development, prevention and correction of irregularities of the teeth, bite and jaw.

An orthodontist will treat crooked teeth, designing a treatment plan to straighten and align the teeth; this plan may involve aligners, braces and brackets. At our specialist dental practice located in London’s Harley Street, our orthodontist’s favoured methods utilise clear aligners or natural shade ceramic brackets.

Prosthodontics

If you are missing teeth, a prosthodontist can help you reconstruct your smile with prostheses – for example, veneers, dentures, crowns and bridges. These can either be supported by implants in the jaw, or be fixed or removable. Working with the UK’s top dental laboratories, our prosthodontists aim to balance function and improved appearance.

Periodontics

A periodontist diagnoses, treats and advises on the prevention of diseases and disorders of the gums and the other structures, including the underlying bone, around the teeth. Healthy gums are essential to good oral health as they provide the foundations for the teeth.

Endodontics

If it is root canal treatment you require, then you need to see an endodontist who specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and injuries of the tooth root, dental pulp, and surrounding tissue. We have two endodontists at our specialist dental practice, both very experienced in helping patients avoid losing their teeth unnecessarily.
